The architect in me loves all black clothing, and the outdoor enthusiast loves comfortable and stylish athletic clothing that I can wear all day. ATHLEISURE COWL bridges the gap in my wardrobe preferences in the smoothest of ways. It’s designed with thoughtful reversible details, a functional drawstring, and it’s the perfect extra bit of fashion that’s also functionally warm. Designed for a single skein of yarn, this design has directions for both worsted weight (as shown in the main sample) and sport to DK weights. It’s a great use for a skein of handspun, too. Create a drawstring with the main color for a sleek look or add a pop accent color for a bit of pizzaz. Pattern includes video tutorials for the details used in this design.

From Lisa M.
Shana’s deigns are addictive. They are easy to follow, look great in all types of yarn (handspun and commercial) , and make great gifts.
Lisa has test knit many Shanalines Designs patterns including L’dor Va Dor Shawl, Tater Tots Bandana, Coexist, and Always Forward Poncho.
From Marieke, Solace in Stitches
Duplex is a quick and fun to make. The striping and modular joining kept me engaged throughout the project without being to complicated. It’s a great pattern to use up sock yarn leftovers and play with colors. Excited to cast on another one.
Marieke test knit Duplex, and has knit many other Shanalines Designs patterns.
From Nan P.
Shana consistently produces engaging and fun to knit designs, and offers great pattern support. She is really fun to test knit for, as well. I love the playful and meditative aspects of her knits.
Nan test knit Coexist, and has knit other Shanalines Designs patterns.
